Whitetail Deer Hunts in Manitoba

This area of Manitoba, Canada offers the best of both worlds when it comes to whitetail deer hunting. McCreary hunting grounds offer deep woods and agricultural fringes that border the Riding Mountain National Park, just imagine the monster bucks that lurk the woods and farms that are adjoined to the National Park. There is an abundance of game in this area, it is not uncommon to see elk, wolves, coyotes, bears and moose during your hunt.

Manitoba produces some of the largest whitetail deer in North America. During your hunt you will see whitetail deer that range from the 130 class up to the 200 class. As a hunter you will have to make the decision on what type of deer you are looking to harvest.

Typically, depending on the weather conditions you will either be brought to your stand by ATV, UTV, or snowmobile. There are some instances that you have to walk from the vehicle to your stand.

All hunters will be provided with radios for communication in case of an animal being harvested and also pickup time determinations.

Rates for all Manitoba Whitetail Deer Hunts
$ 4,000 US Dollars 

Plus hunting licence fees and 5% GST tax.

Hunt includes: 

  • All hunts start on Monday
  • 7 night accommodations in McCreary, Manitoba (large rooms)
  • 6 days of hunting (heated box blinds or ground blinds, hunter’s choice)
  • 3 meals a day two hot and a packed lunch
  • 1 guide to 2 to 3 hunters (radio communication with guides)
  • All local transportation
  • Caping of game for preparation of taxidermy
  • Preparation of game to be taken home if desired

Note: Hunters are allowed to harvest only one Whitetail Deer, hunter may also harvest Wolf in certain zones.

All hunts require a non-refundable deposit of $ 500.00 US Dollars per person, due at the time of booking.

Equipment you should have:

  • Hunter orange hat and vest (not required for bear) 
  • Firearm with extra ammunition
  • Binoculars or other optics
  • Warm hunting clothes
  • Insulated hunting boots
  • Insulated hunting gloves
  • Small backpack 
  • Flashlight and spare batteries
  • Camera
  • Hunting knife
